LESSON 3 MEASURING THE BODY BASAL TEMPERATURE How to measure and record your basal body temperature (TB). Objectives of the lesson: Learn how to measure and record exactly your TB Learn how to identify the factors that may affect your curve TB Important points in this lesson: In the measure-TB should follow the directions of reference we list: Measure your temperature at the same time every morning. Measure the temperature before moving. Use an accurate thermometer (thermometer for TB available in pharmacies). Record your temperature as soon as possible after taking it. You can measure your temperature orally or vaginally, but opted for a system, you have to be constant during the cycle. If you plan to change the system and measure your temperature vaginally (higher temperatures and more precise), wait for a new cycle beginning. Do not change the readings vaginal oral readings, during the same cycle, as this will alter your interpretation: vaginal temperatures are generally higher than oral temperature. To measure your temperature vaginally, just the tip of the thermometer inserted in the vagina, in the morning and record your temperature as usual. Both mercury thermometers that are effective digital. The digital thermometer TB gives a quick reading. Both mercury thermometers that will store digital temperature, but it is better to immediately view it and register it as soon as possible on the graph. If possible it would be good to establish steps to register your details at the same time every day, so you will not forget. Some indication of reference to be followed even when you measure your TB: your temperature data will be more reliable if you follow these guidelines. Failure to do so can make your registration less accurate to read and thus make it more difficult to establish correctly ovulation. Measure the temperature before getting up in the morning: the activity can raise your TB. Keep your thermometer accessible so as not having to get up to take it. Use the same thermometer throughout the cycle, if possible. If it breaks or the battery runs out and I used a new one, take note of this fact on the graph. Keep a thermometer parts, in case the first breaks (especially if you are using a glass thermometer). Most women prefer to take oral temperatures, however, when the temperature patterns are unclear, it is better to switch to temperature vaginally, the next cycle. Record your temperature immediately to avoid to forget. If circumstances prevent you from measuring the temperature immediately, before getting up, soon as you can and note the time. - Examine the temperature data recorded on the chart that I sent to you as a model. Since progesterone is produced at high levels after ovulation, it is possible to identify the ovulation day or two days BEFORE the temperature increases. Ovulation is identified by the vertical line. The horizontal line helps to predict the two-phase model. The lowest temperatures are recorded prior to ovulation, and higher temperatures are recorded after ovulation. Before ovulation, during your follicular phase, the basal temperatures are relatively low. After ovulation, increases in body temperature will be high enough, so that you can see the difference between your pre temperatures - temperatures of ovulation and peak ovulation, plotted on the graph. A fertility chart showing ovulation detected with TB will have a TWO-PHASE model. This means that show the lowest temperatures before ovulation, an increase (thermal shift), and therefore higher temperatures after ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs on the last day of the lowest temperatures. This is the only sign that you can see who can confirm that ovulation actually occurred. All other signals only tell you that ovulation is approaching, but the peak temperature is the fact that it will help to precisely mark the exact day on which ovulation may have occurred. The increase in temperature is usually about 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit or 0.2 degrees Celsius, but the increase can be light: 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit or 0.1 degrees Celsius or even less in some cases. Ovulation, as stated, has occurred when there is a continuous increase in temperature of at least 3 days which generally follows to 'lowering heat. If there is no pregnancy, your temperature will stay elevated for 10-15 days until they regress. Therefore, the level of progesterone will fall and you will experience the menstrual cycle. During this period the temperature drops normally, although it is not unusual to have different temperatures or high during the cycle. Measure the TB can help identify or confirm ovulation with accuracy, but it is important to observe this sign along with other signs, especially cervical fluid. In some women (sometimes in the same woman, in certain periods) can manifest temperatures little variables and therefore not able to give clear detections. The observation of multiple signs provides the verification in the case where a sign is ambiguous or altered by other factors. As we shall see in the next lesson. The sign of the temperature if it is clear, can indicate to a woman when she probably ovulated, we use the conditional because by recent data has shown that sometimes there are symptoms of ovulation, but ovulation does not really occurred or not so complete to allow conception. When the cycles are fairly consistent, you can use the date of TB maximum, as confirmation of presumed ovulation in previous cycles, to predict with good approximation the date of ovulation cycles in the future. A prediction that may be subject to a variation, typically limited to a shift of a few days, with respect to the day of ovulation and in this case the Method or numerical calculation should be able to detect it, with a qualified possibility of precision. ALIMENTI CHE CONTENGONO ACIDO ACETILSALICILICO O ANTIBIOTICO NATURALE
Indichiamo per le donne in gravidanza, i bambini molto piccoli ed anche per le persone anziane alcuni siti dove sono elencati gli alimenti contenenti acido acetil salicilico naturale; tali cibi possono sostituire l'assunzione di farmaci come l'aspirina o simili che hanno effetti collaterali. Indichiamo pure l'indirizzo di un sito (ma ve ne sono diversi) dove sono indicati gli alimenti che contengono antibiotici naturali e possono sostituire l'assunzione di tali farmaci. E' molto importante soprattutto nella prima infanzia ed in gravidanza evitare l'utilizzo di sostanze di sintesi e preferire l'alimento naturale indicato che come leggete sulle tabelle può contenere dosi anche elevate della sostanza curativa, procurando effetti equivalenti, anzi migliori. Dalle ricerche è infatti emerso che la compenente vitaminica o farmacologica contenuta in alimenti naturali viene assorbita fisiologicamente in modo migliore ed ha quindi un effetto benefico sufficiente anche se assunta in quantità modiche. Tale beneficio è evidente per alcuni alimenti come il miele, il tè, il ribes nero, datteri ecc. ( v. tabelle con le percentuali sui siti indicati) che appena assunti hanno un effetto antidolorifico, quindi antinfiammatorio immediato.La conoscenza delle proprietà degli alimenti è importante, come già scritto ed indicato per mantenere un'ottima forma fisica.
